How many have died?

In #Milwaukee, after every #murder, the total for the year was always announced and compared to previous years. For the last few years, although there is what seems to be a daily murder, the total is never revealed any more. The police chief is proud of the lower crime rate. I would think that the murder numbers would be shared.
